K9-1 Specialized Training Classes
Puppy Pre- School
Saturday 9 - 10 a.m
Give your puppy the advantage of an early education! Prevent separation anxiety, aggression, and other problems - Housebreaking plans - Health care, nutrition, and grooming tips - Obedience and prep for further training Have your questions answered by the certified trainers of K9-1. You will learn what to do while your puppy plays and socializes!
Requirements: Puppies 10 weeks to 6 months old. Must bring proof of current Distemper/Parvo vaccine and negative stool sample results from your veterinarian. Please do not bring any puppies that are experiencing diarrhea or vomiting.
K9-1 Obedience Club
Tuesday 7 - 8 p.m.
Thursday 7 - 8 p.m.
Saturday 10 - 12 p.m.
This on-going class will focus on perfecting control of your dog, on and off-leash, around heavy distractions. It is the perfect place to set your dog up for success and improve your relationship with your dog using the newly acquired skills obtained in the obedience classes. Success in this group qualifies you for competitions held by K9-1 and entrance to certain specialized classes.
This course has a $200 initiation (including first month) and is then $100/month thereafter. Students will be subject to an additional initiation if they cancel their membership at any time and try to rejoin

K9-1 Scent Club
Wednesday 7 - 8 p.m.
Learn about everything and anything that has to do with scent training. Specific odor detection, man trailing, recovering lost objects, and more will be worked on in this trainer-supervised class.
Requirements are an active obedience club membership and approval from K9-1 instructors.
This course has a $75 per month fee.

K9-1 Bite Club
Saturday 12 - 2 p.m.
This class is all about mastering control of your dog’s aggression. Through advanced obedience and communicating when aggression is appropriate, you will learn not only how to make your dog a safer member of society, but also how to utilize your dog’s natural abilities as part of a home or personal security plan.
This course has a $200 initiation (including first month) and is then $75/month thereafter. This is a weekly course on dates listed on calendar. **Students will be subject to an additional initiation if they cancel their membership at any time and try to rejoin.
