About the event
This class is designed to equip students with the techniques, discipline and critical thinking required to engage a threat while under extreme duress and in the close proximity to fellow officers.This class utilizes live fire, SIRT and UTM marking cartridges and builds on static and dynamic firearm skills under stress.
Upon successful completion of this course, we ask students to make a minimum of a $25 donation and all of the proceeds from each class are then donated to the NYPD Widows and Children’s Fund. Donations are collected at the time of the course.
Required Equipment:
Duty belt, duty gun, duty holster, minimum 3 magazines with appropriate magazine storage
Eye and ear protection
Estimated round count: 300 rounds pistol and 100 rounds pistol UTM (Any student brining their own UTM marking cartridges will also be required to supply their own UTM pistol. Facility can provide on loan Glock UTM pistols and students utilizing facility pistols will be required to purchase UTM cartridges on day of class.)
