About The Event
Carbine 1 is designed to effectively use a carbine style rifle in defensive applications. Topics include:
- emergency reloads
- rifle malfunctions
- multiple target engagement
- various shooting positions
- shooting before, during, after movement
- transition to pistol (where appropriate)
Required Equipment: Carbine, minimum 3 magazines, eye and ear protectionRecommended: rifle sling, belt or chest rig to carry magazines, Minimum 750 rounds rifle ammunitionStudents may bring a pistol mounted on a belt for transitions if desired (recommended)
