One Handed Skills and Drills (LE Only)

One handed skills and drills is a one-day all-inclusive course introducing the officer to one handed weapons manipulation and subsequently developing his/her skill set in one-handed firearms use. The student will be taught the importance of left and right-handed firearm manipulation through drills and scenarios to develop his/her skill set.

The importance of left and right hand firearm manipulation will be practiced, drilled and discussed in the context of fighting while wounded and fighting while having to use either hand to manipulate your environment.

One-handed weapons manipulation; efficiency and proficiency are mandatory individual skill sets in modern day employment of a handgun. The day will conclude with one handed stress tests to reload, malfunction clear and fight while wounded. Officers will be introduced to and participate in over 28 different live-fire drills.
